The Pfeifers

Sam Pfeifer Memorial Scholarship

In 1973 Sam Pfeifer, John and Candy’s brother was killed in an automobile accident. He was working a full time job to support his family while going to Bible School to become a preacher. The Sam Pfeifer memorial scholarship was created to help needy Bible School students. Each month John produces a cassette tape of various artists and speakers who will enrich your life. This tape can be received for any donation you wish to give. The proceeds from this tape ministry not only help students, but have also expanded to support foreign missions.

A Meeting In Anderson, Indiana

Sam Pfeifer Memorial Fund

A recent trip to Anderson, Indiana not only allowed the Pfeifers a visit and lunch with Bill Gaither, but it also gave them an opportunity to see and hear first hand how God is working through the Sam Pfeifer Memorial Fund.

Candy and Mary had been browsing in Bill Gaither's Bookstore and were ready to join John and Bill for lunch when they were approached by a lady who began sharing with them that she was a recipient of a scholarship given to her by the Pfeifers. The scholarship that she received had helped her finish school and prepare for the mission field.

After lunch Mary and Candy talked with her again and it was at this time she said that she would like to give something back to the ministry. Mary was handed a South African $10.00 bill. The lady began to weep as she shared with Candy and Mary the story that hundreds of people have been saved in South Africa because of the Sam Pfeifer Memorial Scholarship Fund.

What a blessing it was to hear her story, to know that because others have given to the Sam Pfeifer Ministry, the message of God’s love is being shared all over the world. We never know what is going on in the Kingdom, but Jesus does. To Him Be T he Glory Forever.
